Screen Canterbury is a group of industry professionals involved in film, television and digital media productions. We have created a social and communications network to actively represent our members and the local screen industry.

Screen Canterbury also acts as a practical industry voice in areas of advocacy, policy development, and promotion on behalf of members. For example, we successfully lobbied the government as the TVNZ charter was being developed and this charter now specifically mentions the regions in terms of TVNZ’s responsibilities.
